Sometimes I wonder if I will ever feel well-rested again, or if that's just something that ended the minute we had a child.

If it helps, when she's a teenager, she'll never be awake. :)

(Bert here btw, I'm too lazy to log in...)

lmao yes that is true. At least for me - I usually sleep in until 10:00/10:30 ish on weekends unless I have something else, although it also depends on when I go to bed.

Yes, and if we keep ours up late they will (usually) sleep in. He he. Tricks of the trade ;)

Oh you will... These times seem like they last forever, but they won't!

Awww...Baby Lerdo is here! I am so glad that she is healthy and doing well. I get the feeling she might have some good lungs. ;)

You will feel well-rested again, trust me!

I have absolutely no experience in this area, except for the fact that I now sleep in quite late, so I guess I'm trying to make up for it...?

Take care of yourself! *hugs* ♥

Sophie slept through the night from 8 weeks old and Joe from 4 weeks old so there is hope! I know I was very lucky, but as soon as they would sleep from about 10pm to 7am without a break, life got a lot easier.

You can kiss goodbye to having a properly uninterrupted lie in for the next few years, though. Even if dh and I let each other stay in bed the kids invariably whoop up a storm and wake us up.

Fortunately all the wonderous awesome of having children outweighs this stuff. We do sometimes sit and spin fantastic dream-stories of when they are young adults and move out, however *g* They've kind of taken the place of our 'when we win the lottery' conversations!
